I look for childhood memories
but the memory of you seems better to me
Remembering seasons past
When you gave birth to laughs
I pray for longevity on this sturdy ship we ride
let storms susbside and good times tide
I yearn for days we'll walk side by side
a boastful stride and humbled pride
I'll hold on to these dreams at night
till then and now this is all I'll write.
Having seen the best and worst of humanitarian assistance and of humanity itself, Orbinski embarks on his most difficult mission to date-writing a deeply personal and controversial book that struggles to make sense of it all.
"The film, in a literal sense, shows the difference one person can make."

Tinariwen is a group made up of Tuareg people. The Tuareg people are descendants of the Berbers, a group of Saharan nomads. The band formed in Muammar al-Qaddafi's rebel camps in 1982, and have since switched from guns to guitars, bringing their music around the world. Their songs mostly cover the subject of independence for their people from the government of Mali.

Tryin to grab hold of what you cant control
Now youre all floss, what a sight to behold
Wisdom is better than silver and gold
I was hopeless now Im on hope road
Every man want to act like hes exempt
When him need to get down on his knees and repent
Cant slick talk on the day of judgement
Your movements similar to a serpent
Tried to play straight, how your whole style bent?
Consequence is no coincidence
Hypocrites always want to play innocent
Always want to take it to the full out extent
Always want to make it seem like good intent
Never want to face it when its time for punishment...''
- Lauryn Hill
"Most people who know my work and have followed it over the past years will know that my murals and canvas have always been focussed on concepts which are universally appreciated by people of all faith. Concepts such as peace, knowledge, patience, unity and brotherhood are often the prefered themes, positive virtues which I feel need to be shared and appreciated by all, something we, unfortunately, do not speak enough about, and virtues which are fading away from our modern societies.
